Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day management of client escrow accounts, to include:
- Monitoring daily funding levels to ensure enough capacity to issue pending/upcoming payments; interact with clients to arrange additional funding when necessary
- Issuing checks and other payments (i.e. wire transfers, ACH)
- Analyze incoming payments to correctly record items
- Reconciling bank accounts to internal systems and loss reports
- Providing detailed client reporting (monthly and ad-hoc)
- Ensuring data integrity related to financial records in core systems
- Responding to client and internal inquiries promptly, professionally and efficiently
- Build effective electronic correspondence that engages an effective partnership
- Review current processes and systems. Recommend upgrades or alternative solutions to improve efficiency and ensure long-term sustainability
- Special projects as assigned
- The successful candidate should have a general accounting experience and or a BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or business
- 5 years of accounting/ bookkeeping experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and be able to multitask in an ever-changing environment
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, management, and internal/external customers
- Excel knowledge
- Strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively
